Badboy Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has clearly fallen on hard times since splitting from Kate Moss - and is playing little girls' birthday parties for just £100 ($200). The 28-year-old rocker made one young female fan’s dream come true by turning up to her birthday bash recently - and has been inundated with requests ever since.
A source revealed: "The birthday girl’s dad told him she was a huge fan and that he’d give him £100 to perform at her party.
"Pete was flattered and happy to oblige. He turned up and played his big hits . Everyone had a great time.
"Some partygoers asked him when he was going to start making dogs out of balloons. He took it in good humor. It made her day and now she’s a very popular girl with her pals.
"Her dad told the local paper and Pete has been bombarded with requests to play since."
Since word started to spread about the cash-strapped rocker being available for birthdays, weddings, funerals, and other social occasions, he has been in huge demand.
The rocker's agent has reportedly received over 500 requests for Pete to play hits such as F*** Forever at private functions.
The $200 fee Pete received is a far cry away from the $3million fellow Brit George Michael pocketed to play on New Year’s Eve at a Russian billionaire’s house.
