The last moments of child actor Brad Renfro have been revealed in a tragic emergency 911 tape. Renfro, 25, shot to fame at just ten appearing in The Client with Tommy Lee Jones. But his career was marred by drug abuse and he was found dead at his Los Angeles home January 15.
Now a shocking tape has emerged in which his girlfriend calls 911 while desperately trying to revive the star. The woman explains to the operator that Renfro in unconscious and motionless.
She says: "His nose is bleeding and he doesn't seem to be breathing. He is completely passed out."
When asked what happened, she says: "I'm not sure. I think he might have taken a couple of pills last night. I've been trying to wake him up to get ready and he just won't move."
The phone operator tried to give instructions on how to do chest compressions - but Renfro cannot be revived.
The L.A. County Coroner's office has ruled his death an accident.
