Actress Mischa Barton almost manages a smile for the camera in the latest celebrity police mugshot. The former "O.C." beauty joined the likes of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie on the Hollywood party girls roll of shame by being arrested for drink-driving early on Thursday morning. Mischa was stopped by cops at about 2.45am and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, possession of drugs and driving on a suspended license.
The London-born starlet, 21, was still in a police cell being held on $10,000 bail more than six hours later.
Mischa was pulled over while driving her white Range Rover in West Hollywood. A press release issued by the LA County Sheriff's Department revealed she was seen "straddling two lanes of traffic and failed to signal when making a turn".
Police say officers "determined that she was an unlicensed driver and was driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage".
Sources told website tmz.com the TV babe had been "very cooperative" and "no trouble at all".
The Inmate Info document on the LA County Sheriff's Department's website called her "Mischa Burton".
Mishca shot to fame as Marissa Cooper in US TV series "The O.C.", which was a hit on both sides of the pond. She was born in Hammersmith, west London, but moved to New York with her family when she was four.
Last summer Mischa was rushed to hospital after drinking alcohol while taking antibiotics for bronchitis. She was reportedly enjoying cocktails and partying with pals at a barbecue when she suddenly fell ill.
