The paparazzo who spent a night in a hotel room with Britney Spears has given his first full interview about their relationship.
Handsome Adnan Ghalib revealed he thinks the popwreck is "awesome" - and admitted he can make up to $200,000 a year from film and pictures of her.
The married videographer hit out at the people who surround Britney and believes the snappers who follow her every move are her real best friends.
And he said his close relationship with the fallen pop princess won't stop him staying on her tail 20 hours a day, seven days a week.
He told US show 20/20: "I think she's awesome. "I think she's a great personIt's unfortunate that she's the way she is, because of the people she surrounds herself with."
Ghalib, 35, said Britney's bizarre behaviour makes her a guaranteed money-spinner and recalled the recent incident where she amazingly confessed on camera to stealing a lighter.
He added: "She's so unpredictableshe is lucrative in that sense."
Ghalib also told how Britney has come to rely on the paparazzo pack. He said: "I mean, if we're not there, who's going to pump her gas?
"Just yesterday she asked me to escort her home.
"Maybe the only friends she's going to have that treat her with the respect that she deserves are going to be the photographers that work with her 24 hours a day.
"It's going to have to be usI think we are her friends now. Until she tells us to go away."
Britney invited Adnan to join her at the five-star Peninsula hotel in Beverly Hills last weekend. He emerged smiling at 4am to buy cigarettes.
Asked what he had been doing with Britney, he replied: "It's hard to make babies when you're just having lunch."
