Hollywood stars Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn are divorcing. Penn, 47, and Wright, 41, have been married for 11 years and have two teenage children together.
The end of their marriage has been confirmed to People.com by their representative Mara Buxbaum.
The couple first began dating in the 90s and eventually tied the knot in 19967.
They have also starred together in a serried of Hollywood projects, including the films 'Hurlyburly' and 'She's So Lovely.'
Penn, an accomplished actor and now director, was previously married to Madonna between 1985 and 1989.
