'X Factor' winner Leon Jackson has reportedly canceled all of his appearances for next 2 weeks, after being diagnosed with tonsillitis.
The 19-year-old singer is struggling to hold it together following 2 weeks of non-stop performances.
Leon, a former a shop assistant at the GAP was due to perform in Edinburgh's Princes Street during the Hogmanay celebrations on Monday - but was forced to pull out shortly before the show.
"I'm just disappointed to be letting people down,' he tells The Sun, 'but it wouldn't feel nice to get on stage and not be able to deliver."
Meanwhile Leon's debut single, a cover of the Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey duet 'When You Believe,' which made last year's Christmas number one - is still clinging to the number one spot after it became the fastest single of 2007.
