Wayne Rooney to have 4m recording studio built in his home

Wayne RooneyManchester United soccer ace Wayne Rooney is to have a £4 million recording studio built in his Cheshire mansion - so that he can rock out with pals in the style of the 1992 flick Wayne’s World, it has been revealed.

According to reports, the Man-U striker, 22, has been having guitar lessons after getting a £2,000 Gibson from fiancée Coleen Mcloughlin for his birthday in October.

A source told British newspaper The Sun: “Wayne’s been getting more and more into music. He’s been inspired by his friendship with P Diddy.

"His mate Rio Ferdinand  is also a big fan and has been encouraging him. They have become United’s dressing-room DJs," the source added.

"It is always their iPod playlists that are on the team’s stereo.

“The new studio will have mixing desks and various instruments. It is no expense spared. Him and Rio might even form a group.”
