Kate Moss desperate to clean up her act for 2008

Supermodel Kate Moss is reportedly desperate to clean up her act for 2008 - and plans to to make it the year of the family.

The 33-year-old supermodel - who has previously dated rocker Pete Doherty & is now dating 'The Kills' frontman Jamie Hince, has decided to move her new nanny into her new home in a bid to lead a quieter life.

Kate, who in November last year revealed she wanted a nanny like Mrs Doubtfire, is giving 65-year-old Mary Davidson - her pal Sadie Frost's mum - her own section of her North London house to create a more "family-friendly" atmosphere.

A source close to Kate told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Kate knows that Mary being there will ground her and make her home a far more stable environment for her five-year-old daughter, Lila Grace.

"She's so excited about Mary moving in and doing lots of cooking and baking for her and her little girl.

"One of the conditions that Mary was brought in the first place was to make the whole place more homely.

"This is Kate's way of cleaning up her act for 2008. It's the year that she wants to make her life become more family-orientated."

Moss recently moved in to her new home in London's expensive St John's Wood and a friend said: "Not only was there more room in the new house for this to happen, but the whole process of moving has given her a sense of starting afresh.

"She wants to put a difficult year - in which she's broken up with long-term love Pete Doherty - behind her."

Kate's search for a new nanny started when Jade Davidson - who is Sadie Frost's sister - resigned from the £500-a-week job after reportedly getting fed up with the model's lifestyle.

The source added: "Mary is still cool and knows how to let her hair down when the time is appropriate She's in India at the moment chilling out before the job starts but is then going to put her life and soul into it."

"Kate was gutted when Jade quit but is delighted that Mary has said yes.

"She's doubled her money as well and, of course, she'll enjoy the very best in VIP treatment and first-class travel."
