'Bunny boiler' Glenn Close is showing the US that she has a taste for milk in a series of new ads.
The actress - who gave obsessive women a nickname when she boiled a pet rabbit to death in the 1987 film Fatal Attraction - is the star of a new set of magazine ads encouraging Americans to get healthy.
As part of the 'got milk?' campaign Close, 60, is seen lying back on a chair in a pair of skin-tight black trousers.
Her milky moustache matches her white starched dress shirt and waistcoat. The headline is "Look Close."
Typed below is a statement attributed to the actress. It says: "To perform my best, I need to give my body the attention it deserves.
"That's why I eat right, exercise and drink milk. Studies suggest the nutrients in three glasses of low fat or fat free milk a day can help you maintain a healthy weight. And the protein helps build muscle for a lean body. You'll see."
Close is the latest in a series of actors, singers and athletes who have appeared in the US got milk campaign. They include singers Sheryl Crow and Beyonc? Knowles and footballer David Beckham.
