Troubled Britney Spears has been accused of prolonging her custody battle by Kevin Federline's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan. Kaplan accused the 'Gimme More' star of deliberately delaying the hearing, after she postponed the last court date on December 12 claiming she was sick, despite being photographed out in Los Angeles with a friend the same day.
Kaplan says: "She was, in fact, out later that day and night.
"It's not fourth grade where you get a doctor's note and it's all OK.
"Britney Spears will have her deposition early (next) year.
"We've got a lot to talk about."
Britney Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline are embroiled in a bitter battle over who gets custody of their two sons, Sean Preton, 2, Jayden James, 1.
Federline currently has full custody of the two children after the singer defied court orders.
