X Factor winner Leon lifts self-imposed sex ban

LeonX Factor winer Leon has lifted his self-imposed sex ban since bagging himself a £1 million recording contract on the hit ITV talent show.

The former shop assistant, 18, who shied away from lovemaking for 12 weeks, to stay focused on his performances, said: “I didn’t want any distractions – but that’s all changed now. I can’t wait to get stuck into my new life.

“I’m a young lad with no plans to settle down soon – so you know how it goes. I’m no virgin like Rhydian.”

Leon - who sang a duet with Kylie Minogue during the final – beat Welsh virgin Rhydian, 25, by just a few thousand votes to scoop the £1million recording contract.

And yesterday, staying in a plush London hotel, Leon revealed that his new-found fame is already working its magic.

He added to British newspaper The Sun: “It’s been completely insane – I keep having all these woman coming up to me and saying, ‘You’re fit.’ I’m not used to it all but it’s really flattering – it’s a real confidence boost.

“I have no problem chatting to girls – they love it when I tell jokes and do impressions.”

Leon, however, was quick to quash rumors that he dated Hope rival Emily Biggs – who was the first to congratulate him on stage – saying: “I’m really close to Emily but there wasn’t any romance.”

Leon will now from from his home in Scotland to London – and he will be showered with treats from luxury firms.

But Leon says he won’t let his new-found wealth go to his head. Despite showing off his new £2,000 Gucci velvet jacket, he said: “I’m not really a flash person – I’m quite careful with money.

“There’s going to be temptations to go out and spend loads of cash so I’ll have to be careful.

“But I’d love to splash out on a Mini Cooper – I suppose that’s an extravagance.”
