X Factor hopeful Leon Jackson was the surprise winner of this year's show - landing himself a lucrative £1m recording contract with Simon Cowell's Syco record label, part of Sony BMG. The 19-year-old from Scotland became X-Factor's youngest ever winner - beating the bookies favorite - Rhydian Roberts.
In the final, Leon teamed up with Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue - for a dazzling rendition of the pop legend's hit, Better The Devil You Know.
The deal with BMG will see Leon - from West Lothian, release a cover version of the Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston hit, When You Believe, which is hotly tipped to be this year's coveted Christmas No 1.
"The whole thing has been absolutely breathtaking. I feel that I've landed where I belong," Leon says.
"I only entered The X Factor to get some experience but this must be the right thing for me if it makes me feel this good inside."
